Spokane has 29 neighborhoods, and neighborhoods can organize neighborhood councils. The City’s Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS) supports them.
Councils are advisory. We share what neighbors think with the City, and we share what the City is doing with neighbors. We do not make City decisions, but our voice is part of the public process.
Neighborhood councils also send representatives to the Community Assembly, where councils from across the city come together.
