The council is designing permanent and A-frame signs to tell neighbors when meetings are.

What’s happening

The council is designing information signs funded by a City Neighborhood Improvement Project grant. There will be permanent signs and A-frame signs, meant to catch neighbors’ attention and alert them to meeting days.

The designs will be finished before the grant deadline in late November.

Why it matters

Many neighbors never hear about council meetings. A sign they pass every day is a simple way to reach them.

Where things stand

  • Next — Finish the sign designs and submit them before the grant deadline. Locations to be confirmed.
  • September 17, 2026 — Neighbors at the general meeting voted on the look for council artwork.

How you can help

A little local knowledge goes a long way.

Start here

  • Suggest a spot. Where would a sign catch your eye on your way through the neighborhood? Tell us in the form below.
  • Come to a meeting. Meet the council and see the designs.
  • Pass this page along to a neighbor.

Community discussion

Have a question, an update or firsthand experience to share? Add to the conversation so neighbors and Council volunteers can work toward solutions together. Comments are reviewed by the council before they appear. Comments are community comments, not verified facts or official Council positions.
